Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha Pays Tribute to Army Braveheart Rifleman Sunil Kumar Jammu, 11 May 2025: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, today paid heartfelt tributes to Army Braveheart Rifleman Sunil Kumar, who valiantly laid down his life in the line of duty while serving the Nation. Honouring the fallen hero, the Lieutenant Governor solemnly reflected on the immeasurable courage and dedication displayed by Rifleman Kumar. His sacrifice stands as a testament to the highest ideals of selfless service and patriotism. “India will never forget his selfless service and supreme sacrifice,” said Shri Manoj Sinha. He further added: "We stand in solidarity with the bereaved family." The ceremony was attended by senior military officials, members of the civil administration, and members of the armed forces, who joined together in extending their deepest respects and condolences. The Government of Jammu and Kashmir remains steadfast in its commitment to honouring the memory of the brave and supporting his family during this time of mourning. |
