Deputy Chief Minister Shri Surinder Choudhary Attends Wreath Laying Ceremony of Martyred Officers Jammu, 11 May 2025: The Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Surinder Choudhary, today attended the wreath laying ceremony held in honour of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, JKAS, and Sub-Inspector Md. Imteyaz of the Border Security Force (BSF), who attained martyrdom in the line of duty due to unprovoked shelling by Pakistan. In a solemn tribute, the Deputy Chief Minister paid his respects to the fallen officers, whose selfless service and sacrifice in the defence of the Nation will forever be etched in the collective memory of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the country at large. The ceremony was attended by senior officials, security personnel, and members of the civil administration, all of whom stood in solidarity with the bereaved families. |
