Minister Javed Ahmed Rana Coordinates with Uttar Pradesh Authorities to Ensure Safety of J&K Residents Following Pahalgam Attack




During his visit to Lucknow, Minister Javed Ahmed Rana undertook a series of high-level engagements with authorities in Uttar Pradesh to coordinate efforts aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of businessmen and students from Jammu and Kashmir, in the aftermath of the recent tragic incident in Pahalgam.

As part of his visit, the Minister held meetings with senior political functionaries of the state and conveyed the concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir regarding the security of their compatriots residing or studying in Uttar Pradesh. He also visited Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, where he interacted directly with students from Jammu and Kashmir, offering reassurance and solidarity.

Minister Rana strongly urged the Uttar Pradesh authorities to take immediate and effective measures to prevent any form of harassment or discrimination against students and businesspersons hailing from Jammu and Kashmir.

In response, the Uttar Pradesh authorities assured the Minister that the safety and security of all residents from Jammu and Kashmir would be accorded the highest priority. They further informed him that clear instructions had been issued to the concerned administrative and law enforcement agencies to uphold these assurances in both letter and spirit.

The visit underscores the Jammu and Kashmir administration’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of its citizens across the country and promoting inter-state harmony and cooperation during challenging times.
