Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh Chairs High-Level Security Review Meeting![]() New Delhi, 9 May 2025: The Honourable Raksha Mantri, Shri Rajnath Singh, today chaired a high-level meeting at South Block, New Delhi, to review the security situation along the western border and the operational preparedness of the Indian Armed Forces. The meeting, which focused on the evolving security landscape, was attended by top military and defence officials, including the Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, and Defence Secretary, Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh. Discussions centred on the current security challenges along the western border, and the preparedness of the Indian Armed Forces to address any emerging threats.
